I was JERRY.K, A2-JERRY, and QC at various times on GEnie. In chat lines, I usually went by the handle "Eat Your Satellites!" (don't even ask).

I was Atari STRT staff, and hosted a bunch of Atari STRT RTC's (one with Jack Tramiel), and did testing and reviews for Atari.
I also ran the Poet's workshop on the Electronic Writers Association RT...that's where I found out that J. Yolan is a very mean and spiteful gasbag...one of life's little lessons about the egos of the self-promoted famous.
I miss GEnie and it's great gopher service. :)
I'd dial and telnet and pipe and tweak and connect through AT&T Canada from Sitka, AK, to connect; it took almost five minutes of typing to connect. LOL
